Motorcycle licence categories

Depending on your age and the engine size you are interested in, you can obtain one of the following categories:

• AM — mopeds up to 50cc, from age 16
• A1 — motorcycles up to 125cc, from age 18
• A2 — motorcycles up to 35kW, from age 20
• A — unlimited engine size, from age 24 (or 22 with 2 years of A2)

How the training works

Practical training starts in a safe, enclosed area where you learn balance, throttle and brake control, manoeuvres and emergency handling. We then move on to real traffic conditions in the city of Serres.

Theory covers the Greek Highway Code with emphasis on two-wheelers, and you get access to online mock tests for the exam.

Documents and exams

You need an ID card, tax number (AFM), passport-style photos, health certificates and the relevant state e-fees. Our school handles the whole process and prepares you for both the theory and practical exams with mock tests.
